These photos were so much fun scrapbooking! It was right after school was out and the army cadet kids were ready to head off to their many different summer training camp destinations. This was their final get together that Rachel planned...until Shannon and I took over and added to the Photo Scavenger Hunt! Those kids did not know what they were getting themselves into. To make a long story short, they had to collect various photos of objects and people with at least one person of each team in the photo. They had to be creative, and they were timed. We also pitted the guys against the girls...what better fun that to do a battle of the sexes! Their last photo and the one worth the most points was the two in this layout. I made the guys come to the croproom and get their picture taken with a room full of women (who knew ahead of time that they were coming), and I told the women to not make it to easy for them. Ha! Ha! They were pretty good sports about all of it. I then sent the girls to any fire station in the city and they had to get their picture taken with the firefighters. The more people, the more points. If they had a firetruck, more points. The losers had to buy the winners pizza. The girls ended up home here first and I think they won, but of course, my husband thinks the guys won, so we ended up buying the pizza that night. But they had a blast anyway! Hence the pun on the title, which Dawn came up with "Scrappers & Fighters". The page just has patterned paper, distress ink, biggie brads and of course Jolee's camera and fire engine. Look! No chipboard! I did use rub-ons though.
