"Harvest Crop"

Okay, go ahead and have a good laugh. Ralna did yesterday. I looked at the work schedule for Saturday and realized that she scheduled me to work from 12-6pm.....ding, ding, ding. Are the light bulbs going on yet? The nerve of her! How can I miss one? How can I miss out on the action? This isn't right? I think I will go on strike! You guys could phone the store and tell her how much you just lllooooovvee me being there....just kidding. I have already started going through withdrawl. I have been whining ever since. She even asked me if I thought her, Deb and Sharon could handle it. Of course they can. I know that is a bit "redonkulus" but you ladies have to realize that I haven't missed working a morning of a weekend crop registration since I started working at JSI 3 1/2 years ago! Have a little mercy on me. I'll just have to "suck it up" as the saying goes. I know I'll get razzed and that's okay, just go a little easy on me or I might not show you all the new product that came in, you may have to go and search on your own........which could be scary considering the whole store is re merchandised and even I don't know where half the stuff was put!
So, I won't be seeing any of those in-line registries on Saturday morning!
So all you convention die harts will have to wait until the "Spring Fling" to see me during the registration madness!!!

"On The Farm"

For any of you who have been coming to the store for any length of time, this is my nephew that had open heart surgery last year. Quite healthy looking isn't he? I can report that he has a clean bill of health and in fact I know God is good. He doesn't need a heart transplant now and I don't know all the "medical" info but he is going to be just fine!!!! He is picking out a new kitten here and having a tough time deciding which one they are going to take home.
Getting help feeding the horses from big brother Brandon. I just had so much fun taking pictures that day. The kids were fun.

We went out to Wynyard a while back and had a blast taking these pictures of the boys. This one above is my favorite with the horses. They have the complete attention of all five of the paints. I gave these pics to Baylee, but I think I have to scrap them too! They are just too cute!

"Help"

Okay, I'm going out on a limb here. If you've been in the store lately, you will have noticed that we have been doing alot of mini projects, cards, etc. A few weeks back, Ralna asked me to do a project out of that Hospitality magazine and I am finally getting to it. You think you know your self and all your little quirks until you try and do a project like this! I don't want it to take a year, and Ralna knows that these projects can seriously take, like forever as it is!
This is where I need your help. I want to to the little book in there called "You Can Quote Me" except when I started trying to come up with all my "famous" quotes, well let's just say the book is going to be mighty thin. So I thought I came up with a brilliant plan-let's post it to those customers who know me well and see what they remember about me. I'll start it with a couple of quotes I came up with and then I seriously need your help! I was thinking of the best ten Laura quotes. Thanks ladies I know I can count on you!
1). That is too funny!
2). Let me show you the new product we got in. (Sound familiar ladies. I am always saying that one).
3). You crack me up.
That is about all I have come up with. Pretty skinny book. I eagerly await.

"New Kitchen"

Okay, you have to admit there is absolutely no comparison!!! I love my new kitchen. Shannon put the cupboards in and the countertop. I love it, love it, love it! He is amazing. He can do anything....well almost anything. He did an awesome job. We aren't quite done yet, have a bit of trim left which is going to be the hardest of all, and a bit of decorating and tada!
